How it works
A complete support pathway designed to turn worry, guesswork and scattered online advice into personalised weekly guidance, practical next steps and reassurance for your family.
Share your child’s mealtime story
Tell us about your child’s current foods, refused foods, routines, mealtime behaviour, your main worries and what you would most like support with.
Receive personalised starting guidance
You’ll receive clear, personalised guidance with a first-week focus, practical mealtime ideas, parent resources, child-friendly activities and a weekly mealtime tracker.
Track the week with support
If you choose a support programme, you’ll use the mealtime tracker to record small wins, concerns, questions, foods explored and any changes you notice. Message support is also available during the week if you have questions or need reassurance.
Get your next personalised guide
Each week, your tracker, questions and mealtime notes are reviewed so your next steps can be shaped around what’s actually happening at home. You’ll receive a fresh personalised guide for the week ahead, helping you recognise progress, stay consistent and feel clear on what to focus on next.

Why this is different from free advice online
Free advice can explain what fussy eating is. The Picky Pathway helps you understand what to try first with your child.
Instead of scrolling through conflicting information, parents receive personalised starting guidance, a simple weekly focus and practical steps based on their child’s current foods, routines and mealtime behaviour.
Our approach focuses on
Reducing pressure, building familiarity, using food play, noticing progress and helping parents feel calmer and more confident at mealtimes.
This service is not medical advice. If you have concerns about health, growth, allergies, choking, swallowing, nutrition, illness or any medical condition, you should contact your GP, health visitor, NHS 111 or an appropriate healthcare professional.
Questions parents often ask
Is this medical advice?
No. This service provides general fussy eating reassurance, parent education and practical mealtime support. It does not diagnose, treat or replace advice from your GP, health visitor, dietitian or other healthcare professional.
Will the nurse personally review every guide?
Standard support is delivered by our trained support team using the registered paediatric nurse-developed framework. Registered paediatric nurse review is available as an add-on, and the Registered Paediatric Nurse-Guided option includes registered nurse guidance throughout.
What does “message support” mean?
Message support lets you send questions through your parent portal. Replies are within 24 hours. It is not an emergency service or instant live chat.
Which option should I choose?
If you want a first step, choose the Personalised Starting Guide. If you want week-by-week help, choose 4-Week Guided Support. If you want extra personalised reassurance, choose the registered paediatric nurse review or registered paediatric nurse-guided option.
What if I have concerns about weight, growth, choking, allergies or health?
This service cannot advise on medical concerns. If you are worried about your child’s weight, growth, allergies, choking, swallowing, development, illness, nutrition or overall health, you should contact your GP, health visitor, NHS 111 or another appropriate healthcare professional.
Important note
This service provides general fussy eating reassurance, parent education and practical mealtime support. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, dietetic advice or a substitute for your GP, health visitor, dietitian or other healthcare professional.
If you are concerned about your child’s weight, growth, development, allergies, choking, swallowing, nutrition, dehydration, illness or any medical condition, please contact your GP, health visitor or NHS 111 as appropriate.
What is the Optional Review Call?
The Optional Review Call is a one-off add-on for families who choose the Personalised Starting Guide and would like help talking through their guide, questions and first steps. It is designed to help you feel clearer about how to use the guidance at home, without committing to a full support programme.
